01. Scope
This policy covers the Pocket Guitar app and this informational website. The developer handles privacy inquiries through the email address below.
02. Data in the app
No account is required. Songs, chord presets, performance settings, MIDI mappings and recordings are stored on your device. The current version includes no advertising, analytics or tracking services and does not automatically upload your work to developer servers.
03. Permissions and recording
Bluetooth access is used to discover and connect compatible Bluetooth MIDI devices and receive performance commands. You can decline or revoke access in system settings; related connectivity may then be unavailable. Performance recording saves audio generated by the app; it is not used to capture ambient conversations.
04. Sharing, backups and deletion
Files are handed to another app or service only when you choose to export or share them. That service’s policies then apply. You can delete songs or recordings in the app, or uninstall the app to remove its local data. System backups, exported files and third-party copies may remain and must be managed separately. Device backups depend on your iOS settings.
05. Website and support email
This website uses no analytics scripts, advertising trackers or cookies and requires no account. Hosting providers may process IP addresses, browser information and access logs to deliver pages and protect the service; retention depends on the hosting service used. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content you provide. We use it to respond to and resolve your request and delete it when no longer needed, unless retention is required by law. Please do not send passwords or unrelated sensitive information.
06. Your choices and children’s privacy
Contact us to ask questions or request correction or deletion of information you provided by email. We have no app account database and cannot remotely access or delete work on your device. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through the app. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal information by email.
07. Updates
We will update this page and its date if our practices change, with notice in the app when appropriate. Please send privacy questions to the email address below.
